Two weeks into my body transformation and it is not for the weak. I am a pretty busy woman and it is hard to find time to complete 5 workouts a week while getting my fairly new coffee shop off the ground and with the holidays approaching. I am finding it increasingly difficult to stay on track….So I decided to just eat whatever, but keep working out. Which is silly, because 80% of the transformation is what you eat. Give what you can, right…
I found The Transformation Workout on the Muscle & Fitness website. Even though, I am completely reckless on my diet I can see my body take shape. A very liberating feeling when the days in the gym start paying off, even in the smallest way. My legs are far more toned and I feel so strong, only after 2 weeks. Consistent gym time just does something to your confidence level and positively impact the rest of the components in your life. I have less energy for BS and more energy to get stuff done. I. LOVE. IT.
The biggest discovery from my 2 weeks is FOOD MATTERS! I documented the foods I ate and the days I ate like a salvage, my workout were terrible.
Those days I contemplated hurling myself off the treadmill, so I can have an excuse to not finish. In reality I finished the workouts, but gosh it was hard. On days filled with lean protein, healthy fats, good carbs and lots and lots of water – I ruled the gym. The ideal daily intake should be 40% protein, 40% carbs, and 20% healthy fats. I am not quite there – Let’s be real…it’s the holidays and it is the time to enjoy friends, family, and food. The 3Fs of my life, LOL.
Through out the next 6 months, I plan to complete the 12-week body transformation….Then decide if I will complete it again, but with clean eating or complete the 30 Days To A Fitness Model Body. My dream by next summer is to get into fitness modeling and create the Buzzed Badger Beer. A lot is ahead… Pictures to come (I am quite shy about pictures, lol…its impossible to find pictures of me before I met my wife.), but have to get over it at some point. 😛
